I'm beginning to wonder if SNCA was ever malty. Every year, we all say the
same thing: "it's not as malty as I remember." I'm beginning to think we've
all got collective amnesia and the thing never was malty but just a
bracingly hoppy beer that had enough malt going on not to wither in the
presence of so many hops.

There's nothing on Snopes, but I'm quite prepared to declare the vanishing
maltiness of SNCA to be urban legend.
