Out of curiosity, what kind of fish is this?
And are you suppose to eat two eyes from one fish?
Or are we talking about a bowl full of fish eyes?

My experience was in Taiwan at a dinner where my Japanese associate was the
guest of honor so he ate the first eye and then the second was offered to
me. It was a poached sea bass I think.
