I've never had a hickory nut cake before, but there's nothing like fudge or
divinity made with hickory nuts. My grandparents had two hickory nut trees on
their farm so there was always plenty. My uncle owns the farm now so we can
still get hickory nuts as soon as they fall from the trees.
