Our 1st Trader Joe's had the grand opening on Friday. It is not too far
from my house. I've seen the store mentioned in threads in the past.
What do the people that shop there think about it? I'm leafing through
their Grand Opening brochure and they have what looks to be some very
decent items. Except the 60% brie. It does not sound so good to me. The
prices look pretty good too. Not low but not as high as Straub's. I
think I'm going to mosey over there tomorrow and have a look-see.

response: Trader Joe's just opened near me few weeks ago.
After hearing about this store online I was excited to visit to buy
low carb low fat snacks for between my meals - am diabetic- and low
carb cereal without paying the Atkin prices.
Can't begin to tell you how dissappointed I was with this store.
1. not diabetic friendly
2. only a few low carb items
3. cold cereals was a joke
4. prices? our local heath food store has lower on their organic
products. and we always thought they were high.
Been better off to visit a low carb warehouse store 45 min.'s from me.
