Well, the ingredients listed nutmeg and ground cloves but no
measurements. The directions said to first combine the ingredients in
column one. But all the ingredients were listed in one single column.
Here is your earlier posted recipe that I copied from Google's
archives:
Raw Apple Cake
From: Melba's Jammin'
2 cups diced unpeeled apple
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. each nutmeg and ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Mix together apple, egg, oil. sugar, vanilla. Sift dry ingredients
together and add, along with nuts. Just mix it up. Batter is very
stiff. Press into greased and floured 9" round baking pan. Bake
35-45 minutes at 350º. While still warm, glaze with a mixture of
butter, powdered sugar and milk.
