Hi Edwin!
I don't think Bosch has been selling their kitchen appliances in the
continental United States very long. They are an old established brand
in Europe. It will take a while for Consumer Reports to get feedback
from customers like myself who are using this product. But, based on
other German products I use such as my Stihl chainsaw, I would say
German workmanship is "World Class"! My German chainsaw has lasted
ten times as long as the American made one I had that blew up.

You can't go wrong using those Consumer Reports ratings...they really
do put the products through their paces testing them for durability.
