All in due time :-). I'm due in Chicago at the beginning of March, then am
probably leaving at the end of March. I'm hoping for a stopover in the
Portland area for at least a few days or maybe a week. It would probably be
better to fly to Seattle, rent a car, and drive down to Portland and
stopover to see you on the way down (or way up?). WA state will let me
drive a WA-plate car with a Canadian driver's licence, but OR won't. Oh the
bureaucracy of it all!
We don't have Vernor's in Winnipeg. We do have Canada Dry and
Schwepp's--it's ginger ale, right? Ginger ale is one of my mother's
cure-alls, along with bananas. Are you feeling sick? Have some ginger
ale/bananas. Once when I was throwing up everything including water, she
offered me sardines after I had turned down ginger ale and bananas.
I like celery, but for some reason celery flavoured soft drinks seem a bit
odd to me. It sounds like it would be good mixed with tomato juice, but I
don't like tomato juice, either :-).

Any more pictures? I haven't seen any in *ages*!
