I've eaten many "oysters" in my life. One of the best
parts of the turkey. It doesn't taste like liver to
me. Are you sure you're not eating some of the innards
that stick up against the backbone on either side. I'm
not sure what they are but they look like liver although
I know they're not. I always give them to the cats.
