Jeez, you're kinda loud. First off, most of what you quoted was written
by Nancy Dooley (Iowa, not Canada); second, it was clear to me that Dave
was writing tongue (fingers?) in cheek with the remark about his brother
said he wouldn't do that.

It's a tragedy any way you look at it and the ripples of sorrow are wide
indeed.
