I've been improvising in and around South Beach for the past 60 lbs of
D's weight-loss regime and I have to say that it's not hard at all.
In your case, I'd toss some broccoli and cauliflower florets with
olive oil, smoked paprika, salt and pepper and roast them till they
were done. Some sliced fruit would also go well with the other things
on the plate -- orange slices with red onion drizzled with olive oil
and dusted with black pepper, say. Or and apple and grated carrot
salad with ginger and lime juice.

Also, you might want to check with your SB dieting guest since in the
third phase of the regimen, whole grain carbs like brown rice are
quite okay in moderate portions. Soba noodles, too, I believe.
