Any green vegetable will do, and the list is very long,
but do not count peas as a green vegie for low-carb
dieters because peas are loaded with carbs, as are
other legumes. Spinach, string beans, collard greens,
are just three that come to mind which should be fine,
but why don't you just ask your dinner guest for some
suggestions? I am on a low-carb diet too and when I go
visit friends to eat, they simply ask me.
