That's just not true. Hamilton Beach, Sunbeam, and a host of other stand
mixers perfom just as well as KA, and many perform better and for less money, a
lot less money. In any event, unless one is handicapped, no one needs any mini
stand mixer... the KA, and others, are only popular because certain egotists
need to display things in their kitchens that reek of commercial-type
paraphenalia, makes them feel like they can actually cook. 95% of what stand
mixers are used for can more easily be accomplished with a hand mixer... and no
one who has full use of their hands needs a mini stand mixer to prepare two
measly loaves of bread. Owning and displaying a KA stand mixer is *exactly*
tantamount to a *child* owning and displaying a set of Lionel trains... it's
all about *FANTASY*.
