The OP is confuing "corn bread", a type of yeast risen rye bread that contains
no corn, with cornbread, a quick bread made with cornmeal.

If you like to use box corn muffin mix try "Washington" brand, it contains no
added sugar... even better with some medium grind cornmeal added for texture.
