I can't testify to Florida's horrid humidity and their heat for growing
Rosemary outside, but I'm in the Southern California high desert where
summer temperatures are often above 100 degrees, while the humidity
doesn't often get above 10 percent. My landscape guy planted Rosemary
at the edge of my vegetable garden (which does extremely well) the first
year, and during the second year I dug it all out because it had taken
over the entire herbs-only bed. He had also planted it all around the
perimeter of the parking lot for a small shopping center here in town.
They had him remove it from there as well within the first year, because
it had grown so tall that the shops could no longer be seen by street
traffic. Yes, Rosemary does extremely well in a low humidity, high heat
climate.
