I got a revel crockpot biggest one I could find, I think 11 quart. I do
pot roasts and make some soups/stocks in it mostly. It does do a
excellent job on stews, chili, shredded pork and those pork shoulder
pretend hams are superb.

I find the oval shape allows a chicken to fit nicely also those pretend
hams.

Tip: Use one of those plastic oven bags in the slow cooker if you intend
to cook something that will be hard to clean up after.
