Let the cream cheese soften and spread it on a plate. Top it with a layer
of one of Barb's jams or jellies (nuke it a bit to make it spreadable (or if
you have some kind of savoury pepper or jalapeno jelly, that works well).
Toast the pecans and sprinkle them on top. Serve with crackers.
