Tom, I have a DeLonghi which I bought on the recommendation of some
Canadian friends two or three years ago. I don't know the model number,
but it's a "true convection" with fan, and I think it's top shelf.
(It's in Florida at our winter home, and I've even considered lugging
it back and forth to avoid the perfectly useful Black & Decker toaster
oven here.
I think it was about $150. or so... Child Bride nearly went into shock,
because she was looking at B & D for about $50, but I've never
regretted it. Does a great job with breads and biscuits, and we don't
need to spin stuff around at the half-way point.
It's your $100, obviously, but I'd stick with the DeLonghi if it were
me.
