I'd go ahead and return the slow cooker if I were you, or at least keep
a good eye on it. This is NOT a slow cooker, even on low. Mine would
scald everything even on the lowest setting so I jumped on the net and
found this to be a common problem with their newer 'stainless'
programmable model.
