Welcome. :-) and sorry for the mix up!
I only use crock pots to make slow cooked stews...
If I want to roast, I use the oven! <G>
Or even a dutch oven depending on what I am doing.
The addition of coffee to roast beef drippings for making gravy also
seems to work well!
