I may have seen it at Sam's also, but I don't recall if it was exactly the
same. Sam's sells Wolfgang Puck cookware, but it isn't the Bistroware line
sold by HSN. I know I have seen the WP griddle at Sam's and maybe the
panini maker. I think if it was the 700 watt model for $179 I would get it.
As for the splash guard, I have to think it is better than the two piece
version I have for my KA stand mixer. The thing is useless and is always in
the way. I should just put it in storage because I seldom use it and it
just gets in the way sitting on the bowl.
