Last night I hosted a cookie party. Everyone brought at least 6 dozen
cookies, and one person brought fudge. We had take out Chinese to keep
everyone from going into sugar shock!

Mocha, Peanut Butter, Peppermint, and Chocolate Fudge

I arranged the cookie platters on the dining room table and set up a
coffee/tea station on the buffet. After dinner, everyone made themselves a
plate of cookies for munching, and a larger one to take home. We played
games while the kids watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and then we all
sang a few Christmas carols by the tree. After most everyone left, my
daughter and I gathered up blankets for her cousins, their mom, and my
friend and her daughter, and we watched A Christmas Carol. And as if that
wasn't great enough, it was the one with George C Scott playing that
crotchety old Ebeneezer, which is my favorite version. It was alot of fun
and I am thinking I will be doing this again next year. Who knows...maybe we
started a new tradition!
