I have a Taylor and it's working well for me. (Knock on wood) I have a
single probe model though. It has a remote that I keep with me so I
always know that the internal temp of what's cookin'.
I'm thinking of getting a BBQ Guru for temp control. It's a unit that
you adapt to your smoker (A WSM, in my case) and it will adjust the
draft to keep the temp at a particular setting. Not cheap but I hear
that it works pretty well.
