Raw, fish, shrimp or octopus can be sashimi. Raw octopus is often called
"tako". Probably the most popular sashimi in Hawaii is yellow-fin tuna
("Ahi")

"Sashimi grade" means, most importantly, it is checked for parasites, as you
would not want those served to be "hosts" following the meal. Sashimi grade
tuna is also a uniform rectangular "block".
