Kitchen Aid stand mixers are not rated for Horsepower... however they are rated
in Watts, (energy *consumed*, NOT power produced).

Unless they're physically disadvantaged no one needs a 5-6 quart stand mixer...
there is nothing those toys r us size units can do better than can be done with
a hand mixer or with ones own hands.
