The bowl-lift models are the heavy-duty ones. The design is a throwback
to when they were made by Hobart, though the components have been
cheapened since. If you work a lot with dough, or just need the largest
one you can get, they are alone in their niche. (If you mainly do
lighter work: beat eggs, mix cake batters, or the like, they may be
overkill for you.)
