My stomach is a mess, too. For bloat, try charcoal capsules (expect your
next bowel movement to be black). I'd try the baking soda in water cure,
but I absolutely can't stand the taste of it.

I ran out of Prilosec recently and had to struggle without it for two
weeks. The only thing that helped at all was lots and lots of water.

If you have acid frequently, Prilosec is a wonder drug. If you can get
prescriptions for less than the OTC stuff, ask for Omeprazole, Prevacid or
Nexium.
