Hello Everyone,

Is anyone familiar with the Slow Food movement? Is there any
advantages to joining the group as opposed to just having a food group
that has dinner together once a month or so? Is anyone in this group a
member? Etc.?

I was discussing Slow Food with some friends and we talked about
starting a local convivium since the nearest one is about a
two-and-a-half hour drive away. So I emailed the person on the website
listed as the new convivium guy. It's been at lest two months and no
reply. Is there any point in pursuing this?
