Kinda reminds me of the late Benny Hill's description of a person's cooking,
which might be a cake, a roast, or whatever: "It tastes like a wet book."
Then there are the teacakes...made from a recipe her mother lent. "In my
mouth they melted like butter/In my stomach they sat like cement."
