Thank you and the same to you and your family. Gee -- it's already
2004 there.

One "memorable" NYE here was when a rail strike (I believe) had
hundreds of coal barges stacked up in the Bay (Chesapeake). At
midnight, they all used their horns for about 5 minutes. Then the
honks gradually tapered off. However, it seems that each one wanted to
get in the 'last word', so a single beep would start aother series of
honking. They finally gave up around 1am. :-)
