I'm currently taking strong antibiotics for a kidney problem, and combined
with the glucophage et al, it's really been doing a number on my stomach.
The good news is, I'm down a pants size.
I've learned certain tricks over the years that help, food wise. For
instance, I can have pasta as a side dish, with protein and a fat but no
bread. It's all in the combination, honey! lol With the new meds I'm on, I
have to be careful not to have too few carbs in a meal (sounds odd, I know)
or I will drop rapidly.
Walking is the best thing. I love to go down to the beach to walk...it
always seems to go faster and be much more enjoyable and I walk longer and
farther there than I do around my neighborhood. Course, that could have
something to do with stopping for stop lights every 100 yards. heh.
