Peanut Butter Fudge
3 cups sugar
1 pint jar marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup peanut butter (smooth)
3/8 cup (3/4 stick) butter
Bring sugar, milk and butter to a boil. Cook to medium soft ball stage
about 236 , stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add marshmallow creme
and peanut butter and nuts if desired. Stir until marshmallow and peanut
butter are melted. Pour into buttered pan. Let set. Makes about 3 pounds.
