Alas, Terry, I only moved to AZ in 2000, but I do love the rocks and scrubby
vegetation! <g> We spent the first three years down in Queen Creek at the
foot of the SanTan Mountains, but a 67 mile one-way drive to work wore pretty
thin. We're now 36 miles from work, and I expect that we'll probably move
closer to the city before it's over. I do miss the raw desert we enjoyed
down in Queen Creek, however. BTW, I was born in Long Beach, CA, but my
family moved to the midwest before I was walking. Still, I'm a native
Californian. Looks like we traded places! <g>
