Mind you, the first cook-in was in Sacramento, at Anne Bourget's.

I have it as a goal to have my house decluttered enough and my deck built
in time to have a July 4 bash. It's been a moving target because of
Important Life Weirdness getting in the way ... sort of one of those "next
year, in Jerusalem" things. Next year! In Berkeley!

This Christmas I realized that I had enough money in the bank to hire
someone to install the yard, so mebbe I'll get busy.

The clutter level is still Medium, but that's an improvement from High.
(It's actually Low in the kitchen and living room.) If I were to stick
with the "Flylady" plan, it would be done by summer. My kitchen is
actually fairly well organized, what there is of it.

(Workspace about seven by ten.)

If you've been in Ray's house, mine's a titch larger, but only a titch.
Large back yard and (unusually for Berkeley) abundant street parking.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the socal cookin ... significant
parental anniversary on the second sunday of June. Too bad as I have
crash space in southern Orange County (with a tiny slice of ocean view,
and you can see Catalina from the main road on a rare clear day).

ObFood: I still owe Jamie the recipe for my mom's lemon curd, so since I
actually have a day off, I will send it to her. Those of you reading this
can check out my food blog.
