Ja, sure. Getting stuff from the locker in the summer was enough to kill
you. What I remember most is the nasty smell that had soaked into the
freezer paper. The smell was not noticeable in the cold of the locker but
you could pick up the smell on the way home. That was mostly from lockers
that were huge rooms with partitioned-off or wired-off spaces. The classy
places that had individual rooms or closets were a lot better. It's been a
long time. . .my deep freeze is 33 years old.
