Why are your lower cabinets only 24 in deep? Is there a size problem with
the room that they have to be so shallow? One of my pet peeves of the US
kitchen industry is this silly 24 in deep base cabinets. The kitchens get
bigger and bigger, yet the base cabinets don't. 30 in makes much more
sense. Put some appliances along the back and you still have counter space
to work.
