The summer before last I bought a very nice basil plant to repot in an
outdoor container. I did so and it was growing very nicely and thick
until I got myself a chihuahua puppy.The puppy ate the basil plant
down to the roots when I was not looking.

I never did get another basil plant to grow as nicely as that one had
since.
