I am curious - that recipe calls for a ten pound rib roast and the 80
minutes oven time it calls for comes out to 8-9 minutes a pound, max.

If you had a four pound roast, did you use the recipe's 8 minutes a pound,
or did you roast your four pound roast 80 mintues, i.e., 20 minutes a pound
?
