I picked up a copy of English Food when I was in London 2 1/2 years ago.
I know I didn't pay $50 for it. (This was back when the Yankee dollar
was worth something in Europe. The price in pounds on the back cover is
19.99.) It's a revised hardback edition copyrighted by Sophie Grigson,
2002.
If you email me, I'd be happy to negotiate a loan for a month. I have
yet to cook anything out of it, but it's an interesting read.
