I first tasted avocado more than twenty years ago. It looked lovely inside
and out, and I was desperately disappointed that eating it was like eating
Crisco from the can with a spoon. I have eaten avocado since, seasoned and
jazzed up into guacamole and so on, but I can't shake my first experience.
To me, it is and will always be bleeeeehhhhhh.
