While the rest of this article may have some merit, I had to laugh when
I saw the above list!!!
Sickle Cell anemia is _not_ a contagious disease!
Sickle Cell is a genetic hematological disorder.....
You can't "catch" it from others!
Your child might "get" it if you breed with somebody that carries the
genes for it..... and if you carry the gene yourself! It's recessive.
