Fair enough. I know people who like strange things too. ;-)

Anyway, perhaps it's in the preparation? My mother completely
buggered up her one and only attempt at cooking brains when I was a
kid and I haven't been able to eat the bloody things ever since!
(I suspect it put the old man off them for life too.
