The one thing that all UUs have in common is that they are all different.

Some churches are very intellectual and some are more spiritual. Some
attempt to appeal to both, so that if you just go a few times you may only
see one side of them. My wife and daughter have gone to the last four UU
national conferences. At the first one, in Quebec, the youth services
were very intellectual. My daughter and her friend weren't happy with
this, and decided that they could do better. So they applied to be in
charge of youth services, and were accepted. They did a service every
night at the conference in Boston the next year, and one was for both
youth and adults. They had 1400 attendees, and my daughter taught them a
simple song. They videotaped it, and I was pretty amazed.
