Actually, Lena, this is the main reason why legal concealed carry is
so effective. It's not because a bunch of people suddenly start
arming themselves. You don't HAVE to carry a gun to have the same
benefits of that right. Because, as a bad guy, I don't know WHO has a
weapon. And AFAIK, in most states, having someone see your weapon
that is not properly concealed could get you into real trouble.
