I might substitute shallots for the green onions, tho'.
I like the garlicky flavor that they add.

I've never used Chipped beef! How salty is it?
Cream cheese does cut back on salty flavors which
is why I like it with caviar. (Romanoff canned, not the
fresh, expensive stuff <G>)

Yeah, but I like the way making the nachos WITH the rest in the nuke
softens them slightly, and that is really pretty good...

Yours is simpler tho' <G>

There is also a totally different flavor with the ranch style beans than
with the refrieds.
