O Golly,.. Goodies

You's gotta use Velveeta cheese in lieu of cream cheese in the "authentic
recepie" The Spam must be gently sautéed to the 'nut brown' stage..then
macerated with the herbs, spices, condiments, veggies of regional choice.
Substituting "Deviled" Ham is not acceptable in the South. Cucumber,
mayonnaise finger sandwiches for the 'afternoon tea'. Bless the 'blue haired
little fading Scarlet O'Hara's in their lavender print dresses'. Argue with
them... if you dare!
Enough of this for now. I read and learn from you all. I have lurked for
years, and am just now posting. I firmly believe the cooking and the ethos of
the country/region is important. I post serious stuff at times, take it and
understand the underlying humor.

Miss Ella Von Claws/Wits, my intrepid Shop Cat just informed me that she is
incensed with your disparaging remark about her, feminine, feline
sensibilities.
