I have never heard of a warm recipe with Alfalfa sprouts either. I think
they'd just wilt away and become a dirty-tasting, stuck-together blob.
Sprouts are usually used in sandwiches and salads; can't think of any other
way, unless, like what Mr. Fromage (that name still cracks me up!)
suggested - garnish.
