I like bean sprouts, which I think are good in certain dishes (pad thai,
some stir-fries and soup, sizzling Saigon crepe). And I've tasted other
kinds of sprouts that I like better than alfalfa sprouts (there used to be a
sprouts lady at our local farmer's market...I think she had broccoli
sprouts? something like that).

But alfalfa sprouts? Yeccch. Can't stand 'em. For a while (late 80's,
early 90's?), you couldn't buy a turkey or veggie sandwich without a tangled
mess of alfalfa sprouts on it. Annoying. I say, feed 'em to the squirrels,
