It makes it GOOEY. Yum! Not really a recipe, just a method...
GOOEY CHEESE POPCORN
Pop popcorn as desired (I use a bag of low-fat microwave popcorn) and
transfer it to a large open-faced bowl.
In a nuke-safe bowl, nuke 2-3T butter and a hunk of Velveeta, chopped -
more-or-less equal parts, possibly a little more Velveeta than butter.
Once melted, stir the butter/Velveeta mix well, until it is smooth.
Rapidly pour it in a small stream over the popcorn in the bowl, while
stirring the popcorn rapidly with a fork. (This is the tricky part -
each hand has to work independantly.) Toss to further coat. Salt if
desired (I don't.) Eat while still warm. YUM!
