Some are, others are just pretty ordinary looking. The most
striking child I have ever seen had mocha skin, blonde curly hair and
green eyes. Absolutely darling!

Most people would classify DH and DS as "African American" but they are
truly multi-ethnic as are most African Americans. Their heritage is
African, Eastern European and American Indian. DS is adopted (not
"bi-racial"), but his heritage matches DH's almost exactly. He even
looks like DH.
