We do food shows, we are involved with the ACF and schools. However as
Chefs who use our products move out of our direct market, we find a need
to service them on a more national level. For example at the moment we
could use someone in the Miami area, Philadelphia, Omaha, Pittsburgh and
Memphis. This eliminates most traditional methods of locating a
candidate. Classifieds have been un-productive.
So my thought is - if somebody is already into food in a big way - this
may be an opportunity for them to get involved professionally in their
local community on either a part-time or a full-time basis.
I still think that is an alternative to big company marketing and more
customer foccused. The hard part is to find the right people.
